Here's a photo of the daughter of my friend, Caryn. I created this page using the Sleep Tight kit for girls by DK Designs (Cherity and Josie)at iscrapbook.com. The kit is available only here at and you can also get a set of matching quick pages there if you prefer to save time. Nene's Nephew

My mentee, Nene, has the cutest little nephew. His nick name is Diggie. We all went to the Rudder High School basketball game last Friday to watch Nene's sister, Fefe, play. Diggie got a little bored towards the end and started wandering and that's when we got this photo. I created this layout using the Sleep Tight Boy kit by DK Designs (Cherity and Josie). The kit is available only at iscrapbook.com and you can also get a set of matching quick pages there if you prefer to save time. I'm a brand new member of the DK Designs Creative Team so you'll be seeing lots of their kits here in the future. Check out Cherity and Josie's blog at http://digitalkits.blogspot.com/ for some great freebies.

Tay

Tay is one of the girls I mentor. Last spring we went to my parent's lake house where we took this photo. I made this layout using the Tell Me Boy kit by Helene Douchet. There are lots of bright colors in this kit, even bright teal wood as a paper. You can get the kit here at scrapbookgraphics.com. Also, check out Helene's blog.

This is Nene, my mentee. I became Nene's mentor about a year ago through Save Our Streets Ministies. Nene is 17 and I think she's grrrrrrrrrrreat! She's holding her nephew in her lap in this photo. I created this layout using the Girls Retreat kit by Catherine Designs. It has over 60 elements! It's for sale here at After Five Refreshing Digital Designs.

Cheryl in a Tiara

Cheryl and I met when I was teaching English at the Baptist Student Ministry at Texas A&M University in 2008. She's from Taiwan and is such a lovely woman. This picture was taken when we went out to lunch at TGIFridays. I made this page using If the Tiara Fits kit by Helly at Ahhh Scrap. You can get the kit here.

Cooking with the Twins

Keesha and Queesha are my 1st grade friends. They're twins and they love to make cookies. This page was created with the Please Refridgerate kit which was a collaboration between Mikkel Paige of Oscraps and Lauren Grier of Sweet Shoppe Designs. My layout doesn't show it but there are tons of cute veggis with this kit. You can buy the kit here at Oscraps. To keep up to date on what Mikkel is doing, check out her blog.

Pumpkin, Pie and Nutmeg

Here are our 3 miniature dashchunds (weiner dogs). The mamma is Pumpkin. The daddy is Pie and the baby is Nutmeg. They are like our children (in addition to our 5 human children and 3 cat children).

This layout was created using the Mele Kalikimakwa kit by Amanda Heimann at Scrap Orchard. There are tons of great Hawaiian papers and elements. I plan to use it a lot for photos of when Mike and I go to Hawaii next month. You can get the kit here. I also highly recommend checking ou Amanda's blog here.
